You couldn't fall asleep no matter how hard you try. Questions were flooding your head. Everyone here seemed to have more secrets than the other. Also, Yoongi's knowledge of this place and Jimin's behaviour were questionable. Those two seemed to know more than they admit. However, you understood that beating around the bush ain't doing you any favour. All of you still needed to figure out how to leave this place. Only the doppelgangers here know something. But you are sure as hell that they won't help you. Why will they? When it's clear that these people want you all dead? All these thoughts were keeping you awake. You still couldn't believe that Jimin doppelganger almost fooled you all. If it wasn't for Hoseok then Taehyung would've died. If it wasn't enough you almost died as well. Your doppelganger turned out to be a monster after all. Who would've thought that your evil sides will turn out to be THIS evil? You are lucky that no one died. Just how the hell will you get out?
"Go to sleep (Y/N). You are thinking too much."
You almost jumped as Seokjin spoke up suddenly. Gosh, he was awake all this time?
"Then why didn't you sleep?"
You turned around to face the older man who only sighed in response. "I just...I'm scared just like you (Y/N). Every time I close my eyes I feel like something will happen. I'm so sorry (Y/N). Because of my foolishness, we are in this mess. If I haven't suggested such a thing then none of this would've occurred. I'm so so sorry."
Seokjin's voice broke at some point. You couldn't help but feel bad for him. He was just trying to have some fun. Who would've known it will turn out this way? none of you did and all of you agreed to his idea as well.
"Seokjin, please don't blame yourself. You were just trying to cheer us up. None of us comprehended the consequences of our actions. All of us are at fault here. So please, don't blame yourself. I'm convinced that we will find a way out."
You sighed "At least we got proof that not everything is fake. What do you say, Seokjin?"
You tried to joke and it worked. Seokjin laughed and calmed down. You smiled along with him. Seokjin is a good man and you were glad that he is here with you. His presence kept everyone in check. Even Jimin respects Seokijn so you assumed that everything will be fine.
"Thank you (Y/N). You really know how to make people feel better, don't you?"
"I try, Seokjin, I try."
After that conversation, it was easier to fall into a deep sleep. Little did you know that it helped him as well.
The next morning, when you woke up from your slumber you were surprised to see that Seokjin was already awake. The weird thing was that no matter what time it is there was no sun in this world. The aura was so shady that it almost suffocated you. You decided to leave the comfort of the blankets and head out to the living room.
All the boys were up already. Some of them greeted you when you stepped out. They were scattered across the room. You can feel the awkward tension in the air. None of them made eye contact with each other. Just what the hell did you miss?
"Guys... Is everything okay?"
You decided to break the ice since no one looked eager to speak up first.
"No (Y/N) these boys decided that fighting in this situation will be a good idea."
Namjoon glared at Jimin and Taehyung who were looking ready to rip each other's heads off. You understood now.
"What were they fighting over this time?"
"The same * as always. These two never stop. I mean can you be a little grateful? I don't know why you guys are so against Jimin."
Yoongi huffed. You knew he is the only one who will ever take your CEO's side. They are always on the same page somehow.
"Then for what reason are you on his side?" Jungkook snapped back.
"You know the answer to our behaviour very well hyung," Hoseok answered stiffly.
"Guys, why don't we hear him out this once?"
You sat down beside Jimin making everyone surprised. Jimin looked at you with a stunned look. Why are you taking his side? it completely flew over his head.
"Wow, (Y/N) you are taking his side too?" Taehyung scoffed.
"I'm not taking anyone's side, Taehyung. He came here for us. It's only reasonable we hear him out."
"I can't believe you!"
"Can we just—
"No, hyung!"
"Why are guys like this?!"
"Stop it, will you?!"
"No, just—
"Just why?!"
"ENOUGH!!"
Your outburst made everyone shut their mouths quickly. The most shocked was Jimin. Since he never saw you raising your voice.
" I won't tolerate one more word about this. If you still want to argue then I suggest you leave the team. Not a SINGLE argument about this anymore."
Your eyes burned. Are they seriously underestimating the circumstances over something so petty? It was unacceptable. Jimin deserved better. When you had a little talk with him you figured that there was so much he wanted to say. These guys need to be more understanding. If they can't be civil with each other for a minute then you doubt any of you will be able to escape from this hell.
"Sorry..."
"Sorry, (Y/N).
"We are sorry..."
"I promise not to cause trouble!"
They apologized and went back to their rooms to cool down leaving you and Jimin alone.
"Thanks... (Y/N)..."
His soft smile said everything. Hopefully, the boys will get along with each other soon.
